Chisinau, 19 November /MOLDPRES/ - The parliamentary faction of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) today blocked the parliament's rostrum and posted placards with messages like "Alegeri anticipate" (Snap Elections), "Jos tarifele" (Down with the Tariffs), "Miliardele inapoi" (Billions Back).
The Socialist MPs showed discontent with the fact that Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu had not put to vote more PSRM initiatives, among which the resignations of heads of state institutions and did not accept a separate meeting with the faction.
"I would have accepted the meeting with the PSRM lawmakers, if Igor Dodon did not specify that he call me to the carpet," Candu said.
Also today, the Socialists demanded resignation of the parliament speaker, adding that they also prepared an initiative to this end.
After a failed attempt to discuss a draft law, the MPs took a break.
