Romanian Embassy to Moldova calls for “Eugen Ionescu” scholarship applications

Chisinau, 19 November /MOLDPRES/-The Romanian Embassy to Moldova today announced a call for applications for the”Eugen Ionescu” PhD and post-PhD scholarship programme.
The programme aims at PhD students and researchers from member and observers states of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (IOF) and Algeria.
The three-month scholarships granted by the Romanian Foreign Ministry will start on 1 April 2016 and will be managed by the Francophone University Agency.
The PhD and post-PhD scholarship is designed for francophone researchers enrolled in member universities of the Francophone University Agency.
Candidates will be able to perform internships lasting from three to ten months in more than 20 Romanian higher education institutions, acknowledged for their success in various fields.
The application deadline for 2015-2016 is 17 January 2016.
The Romanian government created the “Eugen Ionescu” scholarship on the occasion of the Francophone Summit, held in Bucharest in 2006.
