Moldovan parliament passes rectification of 2015 state budget

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today adopted a draft on rectification of the 2015 state budget. The budget sees cut in spending and in revenues worth one billion lei.
Under the draft, the expenses for this year will be reduced by about 1.6 billion lei, of which about half a billion will be taken from the money planned for the road fund.
The fund meant for projects on energy efficiency will be cut by over 200 million lei, and the works on construction of the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline will be suspended. Following the rectifications, the state debt will account for 31.1 per cent of the Gross Domestic Product.
Also today, the lawmakers ruled to transfer 13 million from the reserve fund to diminish the deficit of money in medicine.
