Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/-The factions of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) and the Socialist Party (PSRM) today walked out of the session hall in sign of protest against the postponement of state hearings on the banking embezzlement until 2 December.
According to Liberal-Democrats, the delay of this matter is not appropriate. “PLDM, its faction and Moldovan citizens want to know more about the one-billion bank fraud. We do not want to attend the parliament’s meeting, and we walk out of the session hall in sign of protest,” Liberal-Democrat MP Chiril Lucinschi said.
Democrat and Liberal MPs criticized Liberal-Democrats’ gesture.
Communist MPs today suggested that hearings on the banking frauds, requested by more factions, be held during a special meeting. A number of 50 MPs backed the proposal.
