1. Events in Moldova 

President Nicolae Timofti on 27 November has consultations with the parliamentary factions, in order to nominate a candidate for the office of prime minister.  

The consultations take place as follows: 

11:00 - consultations with the parliamentary faction of the Democratic Party;

11:45 - consultations with the parliamentary faction of the Liberal Party;

12:30 - consultations with the parliamentary faction of Liberal Democratic Party;

A news conference on the first ethno-folklore festival Caucaz (Caucasus) is held at the MOLDPRES conference hall at 11:00.

The European Union Delegation in Moldova invites to the Regional Business Forum, organised within the Europe for Moldova campaign, on EU's assistance for Moldova to develop the small- and medium-sized business.  The event is held at Vila Verde hotel, Ungheni town, at 10:30.

The IPN news agency and Radio Moldova invite to public discussions on  why crises from Moldova affect European integration, at IPN at 14:00.

The Pro Comunitate  public association, with the financial support of the Youth and Sport Ministry, in partnership with the Chisinau city hall's Education, Youth and Sport General Department, inform about the the activity of a working group on developing the municipal youth strategy. The event is held at the aforementioned department at 10:00.

The Association for Researching Chronic Maladies invites to a conference titled, Retina's Pathology, held in partnership with the Austrian Development Agency, Open Medical Institution and the Krankenanstalt Rudolfstiftung Hospital from Vienna. The event takes place at the International Clinic from Orhei at 9:00.

The Biblio-bus of the Ion Creanga National Library for Children arrives in the Malovata Noua village, eastern Dubasari district, on the left bank of Dniester at 13:00.

The Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts invites to the opening of an exhibition and awarding prizes to laureates of a contest of visual arts titled, Gender Equality in Vision of Young People. The event takes place at the Fine Arts Faculty at 16:00.

The 14th issue of the INFOINVENT international specialised exhibition of intellectual property, creativeness and innovation is staged at the Moldexpo centre on 25-28 November.

An exhibition, "Heraldry Identities of Moldova," dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the approval of the National Flag and Coat of Arms and the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the National Heraldry Commission under the Moldovan President, is staged at the National History Museum till 15 January 2016.

An exhibition dedicated to the 95th birthday anniversary of painter Valentina Rusu-Ciobanu is staged at the National Art Museum till 7 December.

An anniversary exhibition by fine artist Sergiu Cuciuc is staged at National Art Museum till 20 December.

An exhibition titled, Fine Art Municipal Saloon Oradea 2015, is staged at the National Art Museum till 16 December.

An exhibition and contest of contemporary art, Autumnala 2015, is staged at the Constantin Brancusi Exhibition Centre till 13 December.

 

2. Moldovan missions abroad 

A delegation of Moldova's parliament attends the 46th session of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly (BSEC PA) in Bucharest on 25-27 November.

Moldovan MPs participate in the 43rd plenary meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Parliamentary Assembly, held in St Petersburg on 26-27 November.

A delegation of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), led by CEC head Iurie Ciocan, pays a study visit to the Central Electoral Commission of Lithuania on 22-28 November.
