Moldovan acting premier has phone conversation with Romanian counterpart

Chisinau, 3 December /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega had a phone conversation with Romanian counterpart Dacian Ciolos on 2 December, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The officials exchanged opinions about the situation in the two states, as well as at international level. Conveying once again best wishes on Romania’s National Day, the Moldovan official expressed gratitude to the country for assistance provided by Romanian state in Moldova’s development.
For his part, Ciolos reconfirmed Romania’s support for Moldova’s efforts on modernization, implementation of reform agenda, mainly, for promoting Moldova’s European integration. The two officials referred inter alia to turning to good account non-refundable financial assistance amounting to 100 million euros, as well as 150 million euro- loan. Ciolos said he assumes all commitments made within the joint meeting between the two governments, and noted that the money would be earmarked after a democratic government and pro-reforms were invested in Chisinau.
The Romanian premier voiced hope that the current political crisis in Moldova would not last long, and in a shortest possible time, a functional government would be set up, aimed at firmly continuing the democratic reforms and ensuring a clear European perspective.
