Chisinau, 3 December /MOLDPRES/- Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu today asked the head of the National Integrity Commission (CNI), Anatolie Donciu, to resign as the lawmakers not to be forced to dismiss him.
Candu said the MPs had heard reports by the special commission on checking CNI members, being discovered irregularities in the files of certain members, especially, CNI head, who would have admitted a conflict of interests focused on the head of his son and failed more bank accounts in the wealth declaration.
"CNI issue has been postponed for several reasons, and this is a political request if you want", Candu said.
The CNI was set up by the law No 180 of 19.12.2011, and is meant to check officials' assets.
