Chisinau, 3 December /MOLDPRES/- MPs today overturned parliament decision of 2013 on appointment of directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), which led to their resignation.
The proposal to cancel the parliament decision came up from Socialists, who said a string of infringements had been admitted at that time. The idea was backed by Communists too. Candu said ANRE's activity was questioned about setting tariffs. "Everything about ANRE has to go through a complete review, and I will address the Constitutional Court in order to avoid some legal consequences, which might arise as a result of this canceled decision", he said.
Today, the MPs heard Deputy Economics Minister Valeriu Triboi and ANRE director Sergiu Ciobanu on situation in the thermal power sector.
Five directors are currently working at ANRE.
