Moldovan acting PM participates in bypass road inauguration

Chisinau, 4 December /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega today participated in the official inauguration of a bypass road around Causeni district, built with the financial support of the National Road Fund, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The acting prime minister welcomed the fact that the bypass road will prevent vehicles from transiting the centre of Causeni district and Cirnateni village. According to him, this will have a positive impact on the environment and road infrastructure.
The official said the new bypass road will ensure a more secure environment for people and children, with less air and phonic pollution.
The acting prime minister assured that the company in charge of implementing the project will receive its full remuneration allotted by the National Road Fund in the shortest time possible.
At his suggestion, a few workers participating in the project were given the opportunity to cut the symbolic ribbon this time.
Attending the event were Transports and Road Infrastructure Minister Iurie Chirinciuc, the head of the State Road Administration Gheorghe Curmei, representatives of local public authorities and residents of Cirnateni village.
Measuring 7.5 kilometers, Causeni district’s bypass road is highly important for Moldova, as it provides an alternative route from Chisinau to Odessa. It is also part of Anenii-Noi- Causeni-Stefan Voda R30 national road. The total cost of the project stands at 200 million lei.
