Chisinau, 9 December /MOLDPRES/ - Entrepreneurs will be able to online request documents, certificates and notices for export, as well as to supervise the providing of these documents for export of animal products to EU, after the launch of an e-service in the context of single office's application.
The Secretariat of Economic Council to the Prime Minister notes that, in cooperation with UNDP Moldova, it will analyze and develop the concept of electronic single office, as well as the impact of the service on users. An agreement in the form of exchange of official letters between the Economic Council’s Secretariat and Social Innovations Laboratory (MiLab) was initiated to this end.
In developing the electronic service, MiLab will actively involve both end beneficiaries of the service – exporters and providers and internal users of information – employees of the National Agency for Food Safety and Veterinary Diagnosis Centre.
Optimising the procedure of animal products export will facilitate the exporters’ access to EU markets and reduce time for entrepreneurs, as well as employees’ administrative burden.
In September 2015, the government approved a regulation on creating a single office for the issuance of sanitary and veterinary certificate for export of animal products and subproducts. The regulation sees that single offices should be set up within the territorial offices of the National Agency for Food Safety, in order to issue permissive documents for export of animal products.
According to the Secretariat of Economic Council to the Prime Minister, digitizing the export of animal products will reduce the risks of corruption by limiting interactions with authorities, as well as by transparency of export procedures, meant to ensure sound competition between exporters.
