Romanian ambassador, military attache awarded Defence Ministry's distinctions

Chisinau, 10 December /MOLDPRES/ - Romania's Ambassador to Moldova Marius Lazurca and Romanian military attache, colonel Dumitru Neacsu today were awarded the highest National Army distinctions - Medal for Cooperation and Medal for Consolidation of Brotherhood in Arms.
According to Defence Minister Anatol Salaru, the distinctions were given for the promotion of peace and democracy worldwide, as well as for special contribution to the support of National Army's activities. Minister Salaru thanked the two diplomats for the efforts made during their mandate to promote peace and democracy, as well as for the development of cooperation and friendship relations between the two states' armies.
For his part, Marius Lazurca said Romania had been and would remain a strategic partner of Moldova. He also said the cooperation in the military sector, along with projects in the energy, health or education areas, were meant to get Moldova closer to the European space and values.
