Moldova, Israel to boost political, diplomatic dialogue in diverse fields

Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi today had a meeting with non-resident Ambassador of the State of Israel to Moldova Oren David, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media communication service has reported.
The two officials praised the positive evolution of the bilateral ties between the two countries. Ulianovschi and David expressed both sides' will to further develop this relation and boost the political and diplomatic dialogue in diverse sectors.
Tudor Ulianovschi thanked the State of Israel for the constant support provided to Moldova. He voiced will to continue projects underway, in particular, in the fields of agriculture, social security and employment. At the same time, the official specified that one of the government's priorities for the next year would be organising actions dedicated to the National Holocaust Remembrance Day, due to be marked in Moldova for the first time ever on 27 January 2016.
Ambassador Oren David reviewed the contacts set with Moldovan authorities. The diplomat stressed the importance of organising meetings of the Moldovan-Israeli joint commission for commercial and economic cooperation. The ambassador added that Israel would further back bilateral projects of common interest.
