Moldovan-Israeli bilateral work agreement to be extended until 5 January 2019

Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/-The acting cabinet today decided to start negotiations on extending the length of the Moldovan-Israeli governmental agreement on the temporary employment of Moldovan citizens in certain fields in Israel, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
The decision provides for extending the bilateral agreement's availability period for another three years, until 5 January 2019.
The document ensures a legal and fair hiring process for Moldovan citizens who arrive to Israel for temporary employment. The document also prevents the payment of illegal taxes. The agreement ensures the continuous between the sides on the recruitment, accommodation, arrival, employment and return of Moldovan citizens following their temporary activity in Israel.
The Moldovan-Israeli governmental agreement on the temporary employment of Moldovan workers in certain work fields in Israel was signed in 2012. Five stages of the agreement have been successfully implemented so far, within which 2,112 Moldovan citizens were hired in Israel.
