Moldovan acting premier awards government diplomas to best employees of national police

Chisinau, 19 December /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega participated in a ceremony on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of national police foundation on 18 December, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.

On this occasion, Brega conveyed best wishes and prosperity to all police employees, and highly appreciated patriotism, manhood, dignity and dedication they show in their work to ensure public order and security in Moldova.

Brega highlighted importance of reform of Interior Ministry in response to increasing demands of society towards the national police activity. “Promoting reform aims at advancing in adjusting police to European standards in the field, so that to ensure the functioning of a modern democratic state”, he said.

The official handed government diplomas to the best employees of Interior Ministry for special merits in activity.
