Prime minister-designate Ion Sturza holds a news briefing to present the agenda of public consultations on the formation of the government's programme and results of previous consultations. The event takes place at the State Residence at 8:30.

The 12th issue of the Christmas Fair is inaugurated at the Moldexpo centre on 18-27 December.

An exhibition, "Heraldry Identities of Moldova," dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the approval of the National Flag and Coat of Arms and the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the National Heraldry Commission under the Moldovan President, is staged at the National History Museum till 15 January 2016.

A personal exhibition by fine artist Emil Childescu is opened at the National Art Museum till 17 January 2016.

The National Art Museum also hosts an exhibition of icons made by Romanian artists till 17 January.

A personal exhibition by fine artist Vadim Palamarciuc is staged at the Constantin Brancusi exhibition centre till 3 January 2016.
