Moldovan premier-designate to ask for MPs' vote of confidence on 4 January 2016

Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs will convene at a special meeting on 4 January 2016, during which prime minister-designate Ion Sturza will ask for the parliament's vote of confidence. Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu made a statement to this effect after a meeting of the parliament's Standing Bureau today.
"On 2 January, the candidate for the office of prime minister, Ion Sturza, will submit the government's action programme and list of cabinet members to parliament. Subsequently, on 4 January, the special meeting will start at 14:00, during which Ion Sturza will ask for MPs' vote of confidence," Andrian Candu said.
The parliament speaker also said "the lawmakers will hold the last meeting of the autumn-winter session on 29 January starting from 14:00."
Today, prime minister-designate Ion Sturza said he would announce the government's action programme and composition of the cabinet on 2 January.
