The Great National Assembly Council and the Executive Bureau of the Initiative Group invite journalists to a news conference on a campaign of collecting signatures to back the holding of a nationwide constitutional referendum on the election and dismissal of Moldova's president by the residents, reduction of the number of MPs and parliamentary immunity, at IPN at 11:00.

An exhibition, "Heraldry Identities of Moldova," dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the approval of the National Flag and Coat of Arms and the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the National Heraldry Commission under the Moldovan President, is staged at the National History Museum till 15 January 2016.

A personal exhibition by fine artist Emil Childescu is opened at the National Art Museum till 17 January 2016.

The National Art Museum also hosts an exhibition of icons made by Romanian artists till 17 January.
