Moldovan acting PM inspects national roads situation

Chisinau, 9 January /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega paid more working visits to verify the national roads situation on 8 January. He was especially interested in the operation of the services for snow clearing, given the precipitation recorded during the days in the country, the government's communication and media relations service has reported.
Thus, Brega inspected the Chisinau-Leuseni route and the M2 Chisinau-Orhei road. He was accompanied by Acting Transport and Road Infrastructure Minister Iurie Chirinciuc. The responsible people of the State Road Administration informed officials that during the last two days, additional forces of equipment and people had been mobilised.
The premier ascertained that more segments of secondary roads leading to villages were still blocked, as not all local authorities managed to ensure snow clearing. The same situaiton was identified at some PECO stations, which failed to clear up the adjacent lands.
Brega said that the central authorities took all measuress to ensure the traffic on the national roads. At the same time, he warned that both local authorities and private enterprises were to exercise obligations in order to cope with the situation by joint efforts.
