Moldovan government thanks Romania for helping treat explosion victims

Chisinau, 11 January /MOLDPRES/-Acting Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega today sent a letter of gratitude to his Romanian counterpart, Dacian Ciolos, thanking Romanian authorities for helping cure Moldovan victims hurt by the explosion on 9 January 2016, the government’s communication and press relations department has reported.
“On behalf of the Moldovan government and on my behalf, I thank you for your responsiveness to accept our request to help carry to Romania three of the victims, severely injured by the explosion in Chisinau, as well as to ensure a quick medical assistance for them. I want to touch upon on the professionalism of the team in charge of this quite hard mission, and therefore, I express them my full gratitude. I hope these joint efforts will help us provide victims with the best high-performance medical aid and increase their chances of survival,” the official letter reads.
Three victims, who were hurt the most by an explosion in Chisinau’s central market, were carried to Bucharest on 10 January, via an aircraft offered by Romanian authorities. Currently, the patients are being provided with modern treatment.
