Moldovan president awards Order of Republic to Romanian counterpart

Chisinau, 13 January /MOLDPRES/ - President Nicolae Timofti has signed a decree on awarding the Order of the Republic to Romanian President Klaus Werner Iohannis, the presidential press service has reported.

The distinction was offered to Iohannis "as a token of deep gratitude for his special contribution to the development and consolidation of the friendship and cooperation relations between Romania and Moldova and for constant support of Moldova's European integration efforts."
