Moldovan finance minister says state budget has resources to pay full salaries, social payments

Chisinau, 14 January /MOLDPRES/-Acting Finance Minister Anatol Arapu during a cabinet meeting today said social payments and salaries were paid in time. “There are enough financial resources to pay full salaries and social payments in January,” the minister said.

Arapu added that all transfers would be immediately made, as long as public institutions submit payment invoices in time. Delays “are caused by the implementation of a new system foreseen by the laws approved two years ago”.

“Resources are fully available. Payments from the Social Fund are made in compliance with the schedule worked out by the Labour, Social Protection and Family Minister and by the Social Fund,” Arapu said.
