New Moldovan cabinet's list of ministers made public

Chisinau, 20 January /MOLDPRES/ - The action programme of the government proposed by Pavel Filip for 2016-2018 and the list of ministers, put forward for appointment, were registered in parliament today.
The parliament's communication and public relations department has said that, today starting from 16:00, the parliament would hold a special meeting to discuss the action programme and the list of the new cabinet.
The team of Prime Minister-designate Pavel Filip includes: Brega Gheorghe - deputy prime minister; Balan George; - deputy prime minister; Calmic Octavian - deputy prime minister, economics minister; Galbur Andrei - deputy prime minister, foreign and European integration minister; Armasu Octavian - finance minister; Cebotari Vladimir - justice minister; Jizdan Alexandru - interior minister; Salaru Anatolie - defence minister; Bitca Vasile - regional development and constructions minister; Grama Eduard - agriculture and food industry minister; Chirinciuc Iurie - transports and roads infrastructure minister; Munteanu Valeriu - environment minister; Fusu Corina - education minister; Babuc Monica - culture minister; Grigoras Stela - labour, social protection and family minister; Glavan Ruxanda - health minister; Zubcu Victor - youth and sport minister; Botnari Vasile - information technology and communications minister.
This week, the candidate nominated by the head of state for the office of prime minister had consultations with all important segments of the society on the governance priorities.
According to the prime minister-designate, the government must urgently focus on the achievement of four immediate objectives: ensuring an economic and financial stability of the state, ensuring immediate protection of the citizens, through social measures and enhancing confidence in the law-enforcement institutions, resuming the talks with the international partners and carrying out the measures from the Association Agreement with EU.
On 15 January, President Nicolae Timofti signed a decree, under which acting Information Technology and Communications Minister Pavel Filip was nominated as candidate for the office of prime minister.
