Moldovan government ex officio members take oath in presence of PM, president

Chisinau, 22 January /MOLDPRES/- Governor of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia Irina Vlah and the head of the Academy of Science (ASM) of Moldova, Gheorghe Duca, government ex officio members, today took oath in the presence of Prime Minister Pavel Filip and President Nicolae Timofti, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The head of state congratulated the cabinet ex officio members on reconfirmation in office. At the same time, Timofti stressed the importance of the efficient cooperation of the state institutions to settle citizens’ problems.
At the event, Pavel Filip said that his team was aware of all complexity and responsibility they had. “We are coming against the background of the crisis and protests. We know the demands of protesters, as well as of the citizens who did not come to the square and who are willing peace and stability”, Filip said.
The premier assured that, on the next months, the Moldovans would have good news in terms of improvement of the living standards.
The Filip government’s ministers took oath on 20 January, after it had got a vote of confidence in parliament.
