Moldovan government to have new secretary general

Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/-The Moldovan cabinet today approved former Economics Deputy Minister Tudor Copaci as the new secretary general of the government. The former head of the Licensing Chamber, Valentin Guznac, was appointed as government’s deputy secretary general.
Sergiu Palihovici resigned from the position of government’s secretary general. Government’s deputy secretary general, Sergiu Ceaus, was dismissed on the same grounds.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip announced that on his order Violeta Vasa had been appointed as head of the prime minister’s cabinet, while Viorelia Moldovan-Batrinac, Lilia Palii, Stela Nistor, Mihai Godea and Ion Lupan had been appointed as main state advisors in the prime minister’s cabinet.
During the same meeting, the government approved the appointment of a string of ambassadors, and namely, Vasile Bumacov (Japan), Stefan Gorda (Bulgaria), Inga Ionesei (Estonia), Iurie Renita (Belgium), Dumitru Socolan (Portugal), Oleg Tulea (Hungary), Gheorghe Leuca (Azerbaijan), Vitalie Rusu (Czech Republic) and Tudor Ulianovschi, as ambassador to Switzerland, permanent representative to UN’s office at Geneva.
The government also approved Andrei Spinu’s resignation from the position of deputy youth and sports minister.
