Moldovan government appoints new ambassadors, officials

Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/- The Moldovan cabinet today approved a string of decisions on the dismissal and appointment of Moldovan ambassadors to other countries and more state officials, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
Therefore, the prime minister appointed: Vasile Bumacov as Moldovan ambassador to Japan, Stefan Gorda as Moldovan ambassador to Bulgaria, Inga Ionesii as Moldovan ambassador to Estonia, Iurie Renita as Moldovan ambassador to Belgium, Dumitru Socolan as Moldovan ambassador to Portugal, Oleg Tulea as Moldovan ambassador to Hungary, Gheorghe Leuca as Moldovan ambassador to Azeirbajan, Vitalie Rusu as Moldovan ambassador to Czech Republic and Tudor Ulianovschi as Moldovan ambassador to Switzerland and as permanent representative to UN’s office at Geneva.
At the same time, Victor Moraru was recalled from his position of Moldovan ambassador to UN’s office at Geneva and concurrently from the office of ambassador to Switzerland.
The Moldovan cabinet today approved former Economics Deputy Minister Tudor Copaci as the new secretary general of the government. The former head of the Licensing Chamber, Valentin Guznac, was appointed as government’s deputy secretary general. Sergiu Palihovici resigned from the position of government’s secretary general. Government’s deputy secretary general, Sergiu Ceaus, was dismissed on the same grounds.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip announced that on his order Violeta Vasa had been appointed as head of the prime minister’s cabinet, while Viorelia Moldovan-Batrinac, Lilia Palii, Stela Nistor, Mihai Godea and Ion Lupan had been appointed as main state advisors in the prime minister’s cabinet.
