Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/ - More oil companies, of which five are importing fuels, have notified the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) about a new decrease in retail prices for petrol, diesel oil and liquid gas. The petrol and diesel oil are cheapening by an average of 0.5 lei per one litre and the liquid gas – by 0.35-0.40 lei for one litre.
The ANRE press service has reported that, after the cheapening, the average selling price of the petrol with the octane number A-95 dropped to 16.27 lei per one litre, the diesel oil’s price – to 13.73 lei and the price of the liquid gas decreased to 9 lei per one litre.
The oil companies explain the cheapening of the petrol, diesel oil and liquid gas sold at fuel supply stations by the diminution of the Platts quotations and the import prices of these types of fuels.
The last cut in pump prices for diesel oil was made in the end of the previous week – by an average of 0.55 lei per one litre, while the prices for petrol and liquid gas dropped by 0.17 lei, and 0.15 lei, respectively, in early January 2016.
The retail selling of petrol and diesel oil is made by 84 enterprises holding licences at 624 fuel filling stations, and the liquid gas is sold by 69 enterprises at 469 filling stations.
