Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet, at a today meeting, ruled to start negotiations on a draft agreement between the governments of Moldova and Argentina on the abolition of the visa regime for holders of ordinary passports.
At a proposal by the Argentine side, the sides started procedures of negotiating two separate agreements on abolition of the visa regime, one for diplomatic, official and business passports, earlier initiated, and another one for ordinary passports.
The government also approved a decision on initiating talks on a draft accord between the Moldovan and Mexican governments on the abolition of the visa regime for holders of diplomatic, business and official passports.
Thus, Argentina and Mexico might become the second and third state of the Latin America, after Chile, where Moldovans might travel visa free. The citizens of Moldova can enter about 70 states without visas.
