Moldovan foreign minister invited to pay visit to Pakistan

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today met Bucharest-based Ambassador of Pakistan to Moldova Ayaz Khan, on a working visit to Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

The two diplomats tackled issues of developing the relations between the two states. The sides also expressed mutual interest in promoting the political dialogue and extending the mutually advantageous cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian sectors. The officials also exchanged opinions on topical matters concerning the threats and challenges to the regional and international security.

For his part, Ambassador Ayaz Khan conveyed Andrei Galbur congratulations on behalf of his Pakistani counterpart on his appointment to office and invited him to visit Pakistan as soon as possible. At the same time, the ambassador voiced willingness of the foreign minister of Pakistan to have a bilateral meeting with his Moldovan counterpart on occasion of international forums.
