Polish loan funds to be used by two Moldovan companies

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/-The first two projects to be financed from the resources of the Polish loan were approved on 11 March by the Supervisory Council of the Assistance Loan Implementation Unit, offered by the Polish government.
According to Economics Ministry’s press service, companies selected are EUROFORTA Limited Liability Company, from Bilicenii Vechi, Singerei district, specialized on fruit packaging and stocking, and AXEDUM Limited Liability Company, from Iurievca village, Cimislia district, specialized on growing broiler chicken, poultry butchering and trading it on the Moldovan market.
EUROFORTA will use the resources provided by the loan to purchase modern equipment and build a packaging hall, aligning it with EU standards. It will also procure and install a sorting line in the packaging hall, as well as modernize eight refrigerating rooms. The total investment accounts for almost 698 thousand euros. Approximately 663 thousand euros the entire sum is part of the Polish loan, while the remaining 35 thousands belong to the shareholders.
AXEDUM Company asked for a loan accounting for more than 1.22 million euros, to update the equipment of the slaughterhouse and endow the halls for raising chicken with new equipment. The company also has secondary activities, such as growing cereals, fodder, combined feed, biohumus and biovit.
