Moldovan deputy foreign minister, Ukrainian ambassador tackle bilateral ties

Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/-Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Lilian Darii met Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova Ivan Gnatyshin today, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media communication service has reported.
The officials discussed the current state of Moldovan-Ukrainian bilateral ties in various fields of mutual interest, touching upon their development prospects as well. In this context, the side voiced their mutual interest in further promoting the Ukrainian-Moldovan political dialogue, boosting up commercial-economic cooperation and enhancing humanitarian cooperation.
The officials also spoke in favor of organizing a new round of consultations between Moldovan and Ukrainian foreign deputy ministers in 2016. They emphasized the important need to resume the activity of the Moldovan-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission for commercial-economic cooperation.
The sides have also exchanged views on the Transnistrian conflict's settlement process during the meeting.
