In the official letter, the prime minister expressed condolences to the mourning families on behalf of the Moldovan government, as well as of the entire society.

“We are by the side of the wounded, whom we wish quick recovery. We strongly condemn this terrorist act and express solidarity with the friendly nation of Turkey,” the letter signed by Pavel Filip to Ahmet Davutoglu also says.

On 13 March evening, a strong blast took place in the centre of the Turkish capital Ankara, triggered by an attack with a mine-strewn car, in the wake of which dozens of people died and were wounded.
