Moldovan PM meets European official

Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip had a meeting with EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn on 14 March, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The officials discussed carrying out of the roadmap on reform agenda, as well as main results got in implementing the Association Agreement within a meeting of the EU-Moldova Association Council.
In this context, Johannes Hahn pointed out the EU support in the reforms, welcoming implementation of the roadmap and civil society’s involvement in carrying out the reforms.
Filip unveiled a progress report of Moldova on implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agenda, reconfirming Moldova’s priorities in the dialogue with EU. Thus, the premier informed the official about the government’s actions as regards the re-launch of Moldova’s cooperation with the international financial institutions, especially, with the International Monetary Fund.
The premier is on a visit to Brussels, on the occasion of the second meeting of the EU-Moldova Association Council.
