Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/- An authorization from local public authorities will no longer be needed for the entrepreneurs who want to start a business in the trade field. Notifying them of their business startup intentions will be enough, the government’s communication and press relations department has reported.
To this effect, the cabinet today approved a draft law amending and simplifying the legal framework providing for the issuance of trade authorizations.
The issuance of a trade authorization currently lasts for more than two months, while the file entrepreneurs must submit to their mayoralty encompasses seven permissive documents issued by various authorities.
With the new notification system, economic agents will only have to interact with their mayoralty, which in its turn will send the data on the new entrepreneur through the single stop shop. The optimization of the process will also minimize the number of permissive documents from seven to one.
The amendments were carried out in compliance with the provisions of the interior trade development strategy, in cooperation with international experts. Amendments are meant to boost up the entrepreneurial activity, facilitate business startup through easier authorizing procedures and curb corruption.
The document is to be examined by the Moldovan parliament.
