Moldovan premier asks competent institutions to liquidate arrears in enforcing Association Agreement

Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/ - The participants in a today cabinet meeting assessed the phase of fulfilling a calendar of removing the arrears and achieving the goals included in the Roadmap for the implementation of the Moldova – European Union Association Agreement. Thus, 21 measures have been carried out of the actions planned for March, and the deadline was exceeded for 18 actions, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.      

In this context, Prime Minister Pavel Filip presented the members of the governmental commission for European integration the recommendations and conclusions of a recent visit to Brussels by a cabinet’s delegation.   

Today, the prime minister asked the competent institutions to take efforts to carry out the measures left out as quickly as possible, stressing that the delays would be sanctioned.   

At the meeting, more institutions, among which the Regional Development and Constructions Ministry, Youth and Sport Ministry, Inter-ethnic Relations Bureau and Audiovisual Coordination Council, unveiled their own reports on the stage of implementing the actions in March.
