Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/- The Foreign and European Integration Ministry voices its profound concern about North Korea’s determination to continue testing ballistic missiles, despite the international community’s insistent calls to refrain from developing nuclear programmes, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
Moldova is sharing the serious concerns of the international community, especially the ones of the United Nations Organization, according to which Pyongyang severely violated the global nuclear non-proliferation regime and endangered peace and security in the Korean peninsula's area, as well as throughout the world.
Moldova backs the efforts the international community is taking to discourage North Korea’s nuclear weapon activities and urges North Korean authorities to give an adequate response to the legitimate concerns voiced about them and strictly observe relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council.
