Moldovan governmental commission for European integration considers implementation stage of Association Agreement

Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/- The governmental commission for European integration has convened a weekly meeting and considered the results of executing the National Plan for implementing the EU-Moldova Association Agreement in the first quarter of 2016, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
In this context, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry and the Economics Ministry unveiled a report on enforcement of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA).
Rapporteurs noted that progress had been registered as regards speeding up of pace of meeting the commitments assumed by Moldova in the context of the Association Agreement, as well as unveiled detailed information on current arrears. In this context, they discussed adjustment of the term for carrying out actions seen in the national plan for implementing the EU-Moldova Association Agreement.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip asked the Transport and Road Infrastructure Ministry, Agriculture and Food Ministry, as well as AGEPI to present information on evolutions in meeting the commitments on implementation of the Association Agreement in the fields of competence at the next meeting of the governmental commission for European integration.
