Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry has voiced deep concern about a recent worsening of the situation in the conflict-stricken region of Nagorno-Karabakh, which led to losses of lives, including among civilians, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
Under these circumstances, the Moldovan authorities urge the sides involved in the conflict to prove restraint in resorting to force, to observe the ceasefire regime and avoid an eventual escalation of the hostilities.
Moldova backs efforts of the international community, in particular, of the Minsk OSCE Group, which includes Russia, France and the USA, for the re-establishment of peace in the region and identifying a peaceful solution to the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
