Japan to further provide assistance to Moldova for implementing reforms

Chisinau, 16 April /MOLDPRES/- In the context of the Global Security Forum –GLOBSEC 2016 held in Bratislava, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur met Japanese Foreign Minister Yoji Muto on 15 April, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s communication and media relations service has reported.
The talks were focused on the development prospects of the Moldovan-Japanese cooperation in the common interest fields. They mentioned development of bilateral relations of the last period, invoking the recent openness of diplomatic missions in Chisinau and Tokyo.
The two officials reiterated the mutual interest in further promoting the political dialogue, including by exchanging visits at different levels. Yoji Muto confirmed the Japanese government’s willingness to further provide assistance to Moldova for implementing the structural reforms.
Galbur participates in the 11th issue of the global forum for security –GLOBSEC Forum 2016 on 15-17 April, held in Bratislava, Slovakia.
