Lithuanian foreign minister to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 16 April /MOLDPRES/- In the context of the Global Security Forum –GLOBSEC 2016, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur had meetings with his counterparts from Poland and Lithuania on 15 April, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s communication and media relations service has reported.
During the meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczikowski, the sides appreciated the positive dynamics of the relations between the two countries, including promotion of political dialogue and boosting economic exchanges. He confirmed the his country’s willingness to further back Moldova in carrying out the reforms seen in the Association Agreement with EU and in implementing sustainable development policies.
During the meeting with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius, the officials exchanged opinions about the rising evolution of the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries, a special attention being paid to promoting the political dialogue, including by boosting the direct ties according to the agenda of visits. In this context, he confirmed his willingness to pay a visit to Moldova in the near future.
