Use of electronic services, instead of paper, represents challenge for business in Moldova

Chisinau, 9 January /MOLDPRES/- Already more than 40 years, Go Paperless initiative is supported and applied successfully at international level. As industry research showed that an office without paper is an effective solution to achieve lower operational costs by 30 per cent, to consume down by 10,000 sheets annually per employee and to get an increase in economic efficiency by up to 90 per cent.

Fast digitization of the national economy in the last years provides an effective and safe platform to become paperless both in the public and private sector. The basic tool of this process has become electronic signature, by which we can benefit simply and quickly from all electronic public services. In this context, using advanced qualified electronic signature in business:

-  You can sign contracts, documents, submit tax declarations and reports, online applications, as well as to request documents at distance in maximum safe conditions and low cost;

-  You save time needed for more productive activities, quickly managing the flow of documents;

It is worth mentioning that the first step to reduce paper consumption in Moldova was done through the „Government without paper" Project approved by the government decision No 975 of 22.12.2012. The project has estimated a reduction in administrative costs by about 13 million lei, as well as optimisation of mail from few days, in case of paper support, to few seconds in the computerized document management system.
