Moldovan resuers unblock more trucks

Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/- Firefighters and rescuers have intervened to release more transport means in five districts, due to bad weather conditions in the last 24 hours, according to the Social Protection and Emergencies Service.
Rescuers unblocked an ambulance near Cosnita village, Dubasari district, and trailed five trucks on the outskirts of Causeni and seven cars near more settlements in the same district. Similar actions have been taken in Cahul, Anenii Noi and Comrat districts. “In all, service employees were asked to intervene in 12 towing cases and offering help to people were blocked in their cars,” a communiqué reads.
Spokesman of the Transport and Road Infrastructure Ministry Vasile Dosca said that now the national roads were in a good condition. “Patrolling and snow clearing works were performed in the national and local roads and road workers are further trained to streamline the traffic,” Dosca said.
At the same time, the Customs Service announced that the customs checkpoints Ceadir-Lunga 1 and Ceadir-Lunga 2 had resumed activity, and the movement restrictions on the Ukrainian territory had been removed. Although, because of snowy route in Ukraine, the access road to the Vulcanesti customs checkpoint is still blocked.
The meteorologists announce for next days the air temperature of – 16 degrees at night and + 3 degrees during the night.
