Moldovan government focuses attention on children's summer vacation scheduling

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ – The Government approved a decision on organization of children and adolescents’ recreation in summer season 2017 today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The document establishes the competencies to those in charge as to finalize, by 20 May 2017, the preparation of resting camps for children and adolescents, including those with day stays, with the necessary inventory and equipment.
The average costs for 24 hours in holiday camps financed from the state budget range 129 – 196 lei/day.
The government offers 25 per cent of the total number of tickets free of charge allocated to summer camps for several categories of children and teenagers, including orphans, those in socially vulnerable families, single parents, and families with three or more children. The rest of the tickets for camps will be sold with a discount of 80 per cent of the total cost of the ticket.
Similarly, the Education Ministry will purchase 100 tickets for students in Romania, 100 tickets for pupils in the conflict region in the eastern regions of Ukraine and 50 tickets for Ukrainian institutions with teaching in Romanian, as well as the return expenses. More 300 tickets will be purchased for pupils from general education institutions in the eastern districts of Moldova and Bender city, subordinated to this Ministry.
Also, it will be purchased a tourist package for 100 Romanian pupils and 150 pupils from Ukraine in order to promote Moldova’s image.
