Moldovan PM expresses condolences about explosion on stadium in Manchester

Chisinau, 23 May /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today conveyed a message of condolences to London chief Theresa May and the British people on the explosion that occurred near the stadium in Manchester, UK, on 22 May, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The message reads that Moldova strongly condemns acts of terrorism and violent attacks on human lives. At the same time, the premier expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased and wished the injured to recover quickly.

The Foreign and European Integration Ministry is in constant contact with the British authorities to determine if among the victims were citizens of Moldova. Moldovans who need assistance or those who know information about persons who had been in the explosion, are asked to call the Moldovan Embassy in London, the emergency number +447895805306 or Call Centre of the MAEIE - 080090990, 022201047, the Republic of Moldova, and +37322788722, if the call is made from abroad.
