Moldovan-Lithuanian officials broach political cooperation

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today met Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Darius Skusevičius, in the context of the Moldovan-Lithuanian inter-ministerial political consultations held in Chisinau, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.

The talks between the two officials focused on issues of cooperation between Moldova and Lithuania. They voiced the mutual interest in further strengthening the bilateral political dialogue at different levels.

The officials also referred to the calendar of bilateral events this year, in the context of the 25th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations, on 10 July 2017.

The Moldovan-Lithuanian political consultations at level of deputy foreign ministers will be held today focusing on the bilateral cooperation, collaboration within the international organizations, latest developments in the Transnistrian case, Eastern Partnership Summit etc.
