Moldovan-Lithuanian commission for European Integration to resume working

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Foreign Minister Daniela Morari had a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister of Lithuania Darius Skusevičius within the Moldovan-Lithuanian political consultations, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The officials discussed issues on European integration agenda and areas of sectoral cooperation in order to implement the Association Agreement between Moldova and EU, based on Lithuanian experience. In this context, it was expressed interest to resume the Moldovan-Lithuanian Joint Commission for European Integration’s work, co-chaired on the level of the Foreign Ministers.
Deputy Minister Daniela Morari also informed about recent developments in Moldova's dialogue with EU, the expectations of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Brussels in November 2017, and Moldova’s vision of development prospects of the Eastern Partnership.
At his part, the Lithuanian Deputy Minister welcomed the efforts made by the Moldovan authorities to achieve the European agenda, reiterating the willingness to support further the implementation of the necessary reforms on it.
