Moldovan MPs to hold meeting in 2 June

Chisinau, 31 May /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament will hold a plenary meeting on 2 June. The Standing Bureau today adopted the meeting’s agenda, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The agenda includes more draft laws elaborated by the working group for ensuring, within the constitutional norms, the functionality of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia (UTA Gagauzia) and of Moldova’s legislative provisions in relation with the special status of UTA Gagauzia. We remind that the working group was created on 20 November 2015.
The MPs will consider the draft law on the amendment and completion of the annexes 3 and 5 to the state social insurances budget for 2017, a draft on completion of the law on state secret, as well as the amendment of the article 31 of the law on mortgage.
Also today, the Standing Bureau approved a proposal by Parliament Speaker Adrian Candu that, on 2 June, the MPs donate blood for children at risk. The action is organized on the occasion of the International Children’s Day, with the support of the National Blood Transfusion Centre.
We remind that, in next June, the ten-day period of donors is traditionally held. According to physicians, a donation of blood can save up to three lives.
