Chisinau hosts meeting of working group on education

Chisinau, 02 June /MOLDPRES/ – The ordinary meeting of the working groups for education was held at the OSCE Mission headquarters in Chisinau today, with participation of representatives of the participants in the negotiation of "5+2" format. The delegation of Chisinau was headed by Valentin Crudu, interim co-ordinator of the working group, the reintegration policy bureau’s public relations service has reported.
The experts discussed a wide range of issues on 8 Moldovan schools in the Transnistrian region studying in the Latin script, including the first stage of the "Evrica" Lyceum in Ribnita, the issue of the issue of apostilating papers issued in the Transnistrian region, the conditions for concluding the lease contracts and the tariffs for communal services.
Other issues were also addressed, such as teachers’ participation of the educational institutions in the region in the pedagogical training courses in accordance with the Intel Teach Essentials Program, about the summer rest of children on both sides of the Dniester, as well as the conditions for admission of the school-leavers from the region to higher education institutions from the Republic of Moldova and abroad.
It was been that the discussions on these topics would continue at the following meeting, the date to be established afterwards.
