No Moldovan citizens among victims of terrorist attacks in London

Chisinau, 04 June /MOLDPRES/ – There have not been identified citizens of the Republic of Moldova among the victims of attacks on Saturday in the centre of British capital.
Interviewed by the agency, Ana Samson, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE), informed that there was no information then about the Moldovan citizens who would have suffered from the recent attacks in London. “Both the ministry and the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the UK are in contact with the British authorities and control the situation. From the latest information it is known that citizens of our country have not suffered,” said the MAEIE’s representative.
Also, the cited source specified that the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Moldova in London was ready to provide the necessary assistance and support in the event that Moldovan citizens would be among the victims of the attacks.
There were hospitalized forty-eight people in five London hospitals following the Saturday attacks in the centre of the capital city of Britain, with six dead.
