Moldovan PM visits footwear factory in central district

Chisinau, 04 June /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip paid a visit to the footwear factory in Obileni village, Hincesti district, an investment of an Italian company, which owns businesses in Romania, Hungary, Bangladesh, Italy, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Related to it, the Premier expressed the authorities’ support for the development of entrepreneurship and the encouragement of foreign investments in Moldova. “Throughout setting jobs here at home, we can grow a prosperous Moldova,” said Pavel Filip and encouraged businessmen to do their best to achieve the result of 800 jobs, assuring them all Government support in this regard.
Almost a year ago, on 18 July, the footwear factory started its activity with 49 employees by an investment of MDL 130 million. Now, it has 250 employees, inhabitants of 13 localities from Hincesti district, in the Prut meadow. The factory manufactures men shoes, but will diversify its range of products for the European market export.
