Moldovan PM sends message of condolence to British people

Chisinau, 04 June /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip sent a letter of condolence to British Prime Minister Theresa May today, where he expressed his solidarity with the British people following the terrorist attack on Saturday in London, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The message mentions that the Republic of Moldova is with the English people along these difficult moments: "I express my sincere condolences to the afflicted families. We are next to those who have suffered from this attack and we want them to recover fast. We firmly condemn this terrorist act and express our solidarity with the friendly people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland."
The Ministry and Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in London are in contact with the British authorities to determine whether among the victims are citizens of the Republic of Moldova, while the diplomatic mission is being prepared to provide the necessary consular assistance.
